A federal court in Texas has just issued a nationwide injunction halting enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act and its Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting requirements, declaring the law “likely unconstitutional.”
Businesses are currently not required to comply with BOI mandates, but this could change with future legal developments. Stay updated to ensure compliance if requirements are reinstated.

Physicians and dentists that prescribe controlled substances: don't forget to take the 8 hour DEA CE prior to renewing.

For Texas licensed dentists, select a controlled substance course through one of TSBDE’s approved providers found in TAC Rule 104.2 and it will fulfill both the TSBDE education requirement as well as the new DEA requirement.

DEA requirement affecting Texas physicians and dentists that prescribe controlled substances: an eight-hour training mandated by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) on managing patients with opioid or substance use disorders.
