Meet Martina Benavidez, the lead paralegal at New Mexico Financial & Family Law, bringing over 15 years of experience in the legal field. Starting her career in 2008 as a runner, Martina worked her way through roles like receptionist and legal assistant before becoming a paralegal in 2016. Since joining the firm in late 2020, she has become a key team member, contributing her expertise in Personal Injury, Family Law, Probate and Estate Planning.

Known for her proactive mindset, strong writing skills and ability to adapt quickly, Martina played a vital role during the COVID pandemic as the firm’s sole paralegal for two years. Her commitment to accountability, ethical conduct and delivering a seamless client experience ensures every client receives top-notch support.

A proud South Valley native, Martina enjoys traveling, exploring stadiums and ballparks, and cheering for her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her husband and 3 children, attending movies and following Lobo basketball.
