The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at around 7:00 pm, the complainant had arranged to meet with a male after inquiring about an iPhone that was on sell on an online selling app. The complainant met with the unknown male at the 9500 block of Fairland, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that the male met her at her vehicle, pulled out a handgun, and demanded her property. The complainant stated that at the same time, a second male arrived at the location in a blue Toyota Camry. Both males then searched the complainant along with her vehicle, looking for money. One of the suspects then got into the victims vehicle as the second suspect got back into the Toyota Camry and both suspects fled the scene, leaving the complainant on the street.

The victims vehicle was located unoccupied on January 2 at the 3600 block of Rosemont. The vehicle was sent to the Houston Police vehicle lot, where it was processed for fingerprints/DNA. When the vehicle was released back to the victim, she located her purse inside the vehicle and noticed that a cell phone was inside of it that did not belong to her. The victim looked at the phone and noticed the photo on the screen saver, which was the same suspects that robbed her. The victim then turned the phone over to police officers. The Houston Police Robbery Division is currently seeking the identity of the two males captured in the photo, who are both believed to be the robbery suspects in this case.

The incident started around noon on the 10600 block of Pearsall Road near Jarratt Road. Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said they went to the location after someone sent the office a screenshot on Facebook, claiming there was a chop shop there.

He says they also found "miscellaneous" items, such as tailgates and auto parts, which Sheriff Salazar says they believe came from taking apart other stolen vehicles.

UPDATE:
Deputies were helping La Marque Police apprehend a felony suspect outside the Walmart at West Road and I-45 North when a deputy shot and wounded the suspect. The suspect was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
